Engineering students can now minor in business

As part of a collaboration with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the business minor is now open to engineering students (except for those majoring in operations research and information engineering) on a selective basis. The new option gives engineering students the opportunity to take courses in Cornell's top-ranked undergraduate business program and obtain depth of knowledge in a related field. Students can apply starting at the beginning of their sophomore year. The fall deadline for applications is Nov. 14. For more information, see http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/minors/business.

The Department of Applied Economics and Management also offers eight different business minors that are available to any student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. These include agribusiness management, food industry management, marketing, business, finance as well as applied economics, international trade and development, and environmental and resource economics.
