Cornell University Library honored its five top student employees April 15 at a ceremony for the 16th annual Fuerst Awards. Twenty-one students were nominated.
From left, the winners are: John Chambers '10, Music Library; Isabelle Cutting '10, Library Human Resources and Library Business Service Center; Freddie Joyner '10, Library Facilities Office; Katherine Ard '10, Math and Physical Sciences libraries; and Brian Sawnor '10, Nestle Library. Anne Kenney, Carl A. Kroch University Librarian, is pictured on the far left.
The award honors William F. Fuerst Jr. '39, a donor who was especially dedicated to undergraduates. He provided for five annual awards of $500 -- the largest financial award for student employees on campus.
