Fleet cars for sale

Fleet services has a number of low-mileage, well-maintained vehicles for sale at reasonable prices. These vehicles have received regular oil changes and preventative maintenance and are in good condition. All Cornell community members conducting official university business can now choose from Cornell Fleet Services' broad selection of vehicles, which include sedans, eight- and 12-person passenger vans and minivans, pickup trucks and fuel-efficient hybrids.

Fleet Services will also implement a new rate structure, effective Jan. 1 (see chart below). The new rates are more in line with commercial vehicle rental agencies and based on a business-day daily rate, plus a per-mile charge for fuel. That means that Fleet Services customers will only pay for the days the vehicle is actually being driven. For instance, if staff members pick up a car on Friday to use on Monday, they will not be charged for the weekend days. Customers are not required to pay for gas outside the per-mile fuel charge or to bring the vehicle back with a full tank of fuel.

Vehicles can be reserved from daily up to monthly periods through the online system at https://cornell.agilefleet.com. Units can also contract with Fleet Services for an annual vehicle assignment (similar to a lease); refuel vehicles for approximately 24 cents per gallon less than using an outside fueling station; and arrange for routine maintenance and emergency repair services for department-owned vehicles, providing a significant savings for the department and the university.
