The future of biologically inspired materials will be the theme of this year's Cornell Center for Materials Research symposium, May 24 at the Statler Hotel.

Bringing together scientists from Cornell and such places as Corning Inc., chemical company BASF Corp. and Harvard University, the symposium will cover a wide range of applications, from cell culture to de-icing. The day will conclude with a poster session in Clark Hall.
