Effective earlier this month, Pat Wynn has been named director of The Cornell Store, replacing Thomas Romantic in that role. Wynn will report to Romantic, who is senior director of supply channel management and business services.

Wynn brings a background in retail management and experience in books, music and cafés from Borders Group Inc.

"Because the store's leadership team has assumed broader responsibilities for its parent division, Cornell's Division of Financial Affairs, we sought a talented, innovative retail professional to focus solely on The Cornell Store," said Romantic. Wynn was a regional sales director at Borders for more than 10 years before becoming vice president for Borders sales promotion. She successfully led numerous strategic shifts for the company during a time of dramatic external pressures and change.

The Cornell Store operates physical and online stores serving the Cornell community worldwide.
