Assemblies Update, Week of Feb. 13

Recent meetings:

  • GPSA: Feb. 6. Discussed general issues with Susan Murphy, vice president for student and academic services, and discussed graduate student housing with Marty Rauker and other representatives from Campus Life. Latest newsletter:http://www.cornellgpsa.com/buzz/2012-02-03/
  • EA: Feb. 15. Discussed proposed changes to academic calendar, details of new NYC tech campus and plans for upcoming employee elections.
  • SA: Feb. 16. Eddie Rooker and Graham Kerslick, Ithaca Common Council members, presented and took questions; the undergraduate-led Alcohol Awareness program was announced, and a proposal for an undergraduate survey on the university's Blue Light safety system was discussed.

Upcoming meetings:

  • GPSA: Feb. 20, 5:30 p.m., Bache Auditorium, Malott Hall. Discussion with Elmira Mangum, vice president for planning and budget; and discussion about the GPSA president's report to the board of trustees.
  • SA: Feb. 23, 4:45 p.m., 401 Physical Sciences Building.
  • UA: Feb. 28, 4:30 p.m., 316 Day Hall.
  • EA: Mar. 7, 12:15 p.m., 316 Day Hall.
