Regional Economic Development Council meets April 18

The Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council (STREDC) will meet Wednesday, April 18, in G10 Biotechnology Building. An open session for the public is noon to 1:55 p.m., including a public comment period.

The meeting will provide an update on the Consolidated Funding Application process for area businesses seeking state funding, a presentation on broadband by Southern Tier Network, report on performance against objectives and a discussion on implementing the STREDC's strategic plan for the region.

Individuals, businesses, organizations, labor and education representatives from Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Delaware, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins counties are welcome to attend the open portion of the meeting.
