The Heermans-McCalmon Playwriting Competition for 2012-13 is accepting entries until Monday, Nov. 26.

The competition is open to all Cornell undergraduates and is sponsored by the Department of Performing and Media Arts. The contest offers $500 and $250 prizes in each of two categories, best 10-minute play and best 10-minute screenplay.

Entries should be sent as a PDF attachment, with an assumed name on the title page, to pma-mailbox@cornell.edu by 4 p.m. Nov. 26. The competitor's real name and contact information should be included in the body of the email.

The winning entries will be presented at a reading Feb. 1, 2013, 4:30 p.m. at the Schwartz Center.
