Special Employee Assembly election to be held Oct. 21
By Nancy Doolittle
Three seats are open on the Employee Assembly for a special fall election, two seats representing exempt employees and one representing nonexempt employees.
Cornell staff members are encouraged to bring their voices and ideas to the EA and consider running for one of these vacant seats.
The EA consists of 19 staff members from across the Ithaca and Geneva campuses who, working closely with members of the administration, give greater visibility to employees as members of the Cornell community, increase their participation in and influence on the policy-making process, and develop a sense of community among all constituencies through sharing of self-governance responsibilities.
Submit your candidate profile and statement of interest by Oct. 15.
All candidates are asked to attend the Oct. 21 Employee Assembly meeting beginning at 12:15 p.m. in the Memorial Room of Willard Straight Hall to answer questions and to meet the other EA representatives.
