The Social Media Basics workshop, Jan. 19, 2018, at 3 p.m. in 120 Maple Ave., will provide awareness of the major social media networks for business marketing, outline the benefits of using social media networks on a business basis, discuss the demographics of the major social networks, and help participants decide which networks are the best fit for promoting their business.

Other topics include: understanding how to create a business page/profile on the major social media networks, understanding how to grow an online community to market a business, and awareness of the tools that help measure the impact of social media activities.
