“Startup Cornell” podcast features Socialfly, Entreprenista League founder

The sixth episode of a podcast hosted by Entrepreneurship at Cornell, Startup Cornell, features Stephanie Cartin ‘06, founder of Socialfly, CEO of The Entreprenista League and co-author of "Like, Love, Follow: The Entreprenista's Guide to Using Social Media To Grow Your Business.”

Cartin walked away from her corporate gig to launch Socialfly, a leading social-first digital and influencer agency based in New York City. Within seven years, Socialfly has grown to more than 30 full-time employees, helping more than 200 brands including the Girl Scouts, Samsung SmartThings, Nest Fragrances, 20th Century Fox and Univision.

Cartin has appeared and been featured on Bloomberg, Forbes,, Refinery29 and CheddarTV. She is also a recent recipient of the SmartCEO Brava award, which recognizes the top female CEOs in New York and a Stevie Award for Women Run Workplace of the Year.

The Startup Cornell podcast, which launched in summer 2021, features interviews with young Cornell entrepreneurs, who tell their stories of successes and failures and offer actionable advice for building and growing a business. It’s available on the Entrepreneurship at Cornell website, as well as Apple podcasts, Spotify and Soundcloud. It’s being created with help from Bert Odom-Reed of the Cornell Broadcast Studios.
