Study Abroad Fair to feature global student experiences
By Megan DeMint
Students who have studied abroad will share their experiences at the Study Abroad Fair on Feb. 7 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Willard Straight Hall Memorial Room.
Students of all majors can join the fair for hot chocolate and international treats while learning about opportunities to study abroad – for a semester, academic year or summer or winter session. Each program offers unique benefits like language immersion, hands-on internships and ways to learn about new cultures and make connections worldwide.
Student opportunities at Cornell Global Hubs – new this academic year – are featured at this year’s fair. Students studying abroad at a Global Hub are embedded in life at a world-class university, where they study with local students and international students. A range of study abroad options are on offer at Hubs worldwide.
Applications are currently open for study abroad next fall, summer or academic year, including Global Hubs programs and other programs suitable for all majors. Interested students should explore study abroad programs, attend an upcoming information session or talk with an Office of Global Learning advisor at the fair. Applications for most programs are due by March 1.
The Study Abroad Fair is hosted by the Office of Global Learning, part of Global Cornell.
