Global opportunities take center stage at International Fair
Cornell’s world of opportunities is coming to central campus. Students can take a whirlwind tour through the university’s global offerings at this year’s International Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Uris Hall Terrace.
Academic opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students include thematic research, study abroad, international minors and world languages.
The Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies is Cornell’s gateway to opportunities like global summer internships, the Laidlaw Undergraduate Leadership and Research Program, Fulbright programs, graduate travel grants, support for language study and many other funding opportunities for students at all levels.
Students at the fair can explore the world regions and area studies available through the Einaudi Center’s programs and the array of opportunities they offer.
Study abroad will be featured at the fair, including Cornell Global Hubs programs and other programs suitable for all majors. Programs may be short term, semester long, or throughout an entire academic year, with opportunities for major-specific courses, field experiences and summer internships.
Applications are currently open for spring semester study abroad. Interested students should explore study abroad programs, talk with an Education Abroad advisor at the fair and complete the application by September 15.
The International Fair is hosted by the Einaudi Center and Office of Global Learning (both part of Global Cornell) and cosponsored by Cornell's Language Resource Center.
