Registration is now open for Fall Part-time Study for Cornell staff and visiting students

Staff, faculty, and visiting students can explore new interests, enhance their resumes or strengthen their professional skills through the Fall Part-Time Study program provided by Cornell’s School of Continuing Education (SCE). Registration is now open for the next academic semester, which runs Aug. 21–Dec. 16, 2023.

The Part-Time Study program, also offered during the spring, winter and summer academic periods, is open to visiting undergraduates, Cornell employees and retirees or any interested adult. Part-time students take regular Cornell courses taught by Cornell faculty, study alongside Cornell students and have access to university libraries and other campus facilities.

Participants may select from any of the thousands of courses offered this fall, but must get permission from the instructor to enroll. With approval from a supervisor, Cornell employees can earn up to four credits each semester for free and Cornell retirees are eligible to take up to six credits each semester for free. Visiting students who want to earn college credit at Cornell without enrolling in a degree program through Part-time Study pay tuition.

The deadline to register for Fall Part-time Study courses is August 21, 2023.

More information about Part-time Study, such as dates, fees, program policies and more, can be found on the SCE website: parttimestudy.cornell.edu.
