Podcast: Tim Barry created the health care system ‘patients deserve’
By Kathy Hovis
The newest episode of a podcast hosted by Entrepreneurship at Cornell, Startup Cornell, features Tim Barry ‘93, the chair and CEO of VillageMD, and this year’s Cornell Entrepreneur of the Year.
Barry founded VillageMD in 2013 with the idea that he could use technology, population insights and a network of expert health care professionals to provide high-quality care, better patient outcomes and a reduction in total costs.
Entrepreneurship at Cornell will honor Barry on April 11 and 12 during the Celebration event on campus and he will also speak Nov. 15 at the Eclectic Convergence Conference at Cornell Tech in New York City.
The Startup Cornell podcast features interviews with Cornell entrepreneurs, who tell their stories of successes and failures and offer actionable advice for building and growing a business. It’s available on the Entrepreneurship at Cornell website, as well as Apple podcasts, Spotify and Soundcloud.
