Le Vent du Nord plays Dallas Morse Coors Concert Series

Québécois folk band Le Vent du Nord will perform in the first Dallas Morse Coors Concert Series (DMCCS) on Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Bailey Hall on the Cornell campus.

Le Vent du Nord

Award winning and highly acclaimed, Le Vent du Nord is a leading force in Quebec’s progressive francophone folk movement. The group’s vast repertoire draws from both traditional sources and original compositions, while enhancing its hard-driving soulful music (rooted in the Celtic diaspora) with a broad range of global influences.

On stage, these five musicians, playing instruments including button accordion, guitar, fiddle, hurdy-gurdy and more, create intense, joyful and dynamic live performances that expand the bounds of tradition in striking global directions.

Artist and program information, subscriptions, single tickets, and student memberships are available through the DMCCS website, cornellconcertseries.com.
