Reminder: Deadline for 2017 child care grants is Sept. 29

Applications for Cornell’s 2017 Child Care Grant Program will be accepted Sept. 4 through Sept. 29. Grants of up to $5,000 per year will be awarded, tax free, to eligible faculty and staff to assist with child care expenses.

Klarman, Physical Sciences architect Fred Koetter dies

Architect and educator Alfred (Fred) H. Koetter Jr., M.Arch. ’66, whose projects included two Cornell campus buildings, died Aug. 21 in Brookline, Massachusetts. He was 79.
