‘Startup Cornell’ podcast features founder of Jamie’s Farm
By Kathy Hovis
The fourth episode of a podcast hosted by Entrepreneurship at Cornell, Startup Cornell, features Jamie Kim ’19, founder and CEO of Jamie’s Farm, a company that inspires change in the way we eat on a daily basis through the humble form of granola.
She started the business as an undergrad at Cornell, after years of gifting unique culinary-inspired flavors of granola to friends, playing with interesting ingredients like clementines, rosemary or curry. The company sources its non-GMO ingredients from small family farms, both local and around the world.
The Startup Cornell podcast, which launched in June, features interviews with young Cornell entrepreneurs, who tell their stories of successes and failures and offer actionable advice for building and growing a business. It’s available on the Entrepreneurship at Cornell website, as well as Apple podcasts, Spotify and Soundcloud. It’s being created with help from Bert Odom-Reed of the Cornell Broadcast Studios.
Past guests have included Nick Nickitas MBA ’14, founder and CEO of Rosie; Brooke Wingo ’17, founder of Zone Swimwear and Jehron Petty ’20, founder and CEO of ColorStack.
