Cornell Arecibo human resource manager Maria Judith Rodriguez received the Service Manager 2010 Award for the North Region at the "Gala Industrial 2010" at the Hotel Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza on April 17. This award was given by the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association in recognition of her work with other departments since 2006 to meet austerity budgets "while maintaining a highly motivated workforce."

The Arecibo staff from the Office of Human Resources extended their congratulations to Rodriguez "for this recognition of excellence."

Known as Judith, Rodriguez has been working as the HR manager for the Arecibo Observatory since 2005.
