EnoCert courses offer wine-industry training
The Cornell Enology Extension Lab is offering a new certification program for winery employees to expand their practical knowledge of winery operations or for motivated amateurs. EnoCert courses will be offered in one- or two-day mix- and-match modules.
Two upcoming EnoCert courses are EnoCert 203 Winery Sanitation and Safety on Aug. 4 and EnoCert 202 Tasting Room Sales Strategies on Aug. 5. Each course costs $200.
The courses will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. To receive Harvest Tech or Tasting Room Educator certificates, EnoCert 101 and 201 must be taken.
