By Kathy Hovis
Students who have an interest in business creation, venture capital, technology, startups, social enterprises or anything related to entrepreneurship can learn more about the vast array of available campus resources during Entrepreneurship at Cornell’s kickoff event Sept. 6 at eHub Collegetown, 409 College Ave.
The event runs from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and will include:
- An overview of the Entrepreneurship at Cornell ecosystem;
- Pitches from select student startup teams who have applied to the eLab accelerator program, with the winning team earning a spot in eLab.
- Opportunities to interact with representatives from more than 20 academic and entrepreneurship-related programs;
- Great food and drinks;
- And time to connect with other entrepreneurially-minded students.
“Every year we look forward to our eShip kickoff,” said Zach Shulman ’87 J.D. ’90, director of Entrepreneurship at Cornell. “It is wonderful to share with new and returning students all the resources that Cornell offers in its entrepreneurship ecosystem. Lots of excitement and engagement – a perfect combination.”
