National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowships have been awarded to 14 Cornell students, five of them undergraduates in their senior year.
Ann Stunden joined Cornell's Information Technologies as director of support services and academic computing earlier this month (January). Stunden will work with academic and administrative units to assure that adequate support exists throughout Cornell to enable faculty and staff to use information technologies in pursuit of the university's academic mission.
The National Science Foundation announced Jan. 19 the formation of the Institute for Civil Infrastructure Systems, a partnership among New York University, Cornell University, Polytechnic University of New York and the University of Southern California.
