Cornell trustee executive committee meets in New York City this week

The Executive Committee of the Cornell University Board of Trustees will hold a brief open session when it meets Thursday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Fall Creek Room of the Cornell Club of New York, 6 E. 44th St., New York City.

The short public session at the beginning of the meeting will include a report from Cornell Interim President Hunter R. Rawlings.

The Audit Committee of the board will meet Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. in the Fall Creek Room. The committee will review minutes of its September meeting and go over its 2006 meeting schedule, review operating principles and practices, and discuss the committee's draft annual report during an open session at the beginning of the meeting. The Buildings and Properties Committee also will meet at the Cornell Club, on Dec. 8 at 9:30 a.m. in the Fall Creek Room. The committee will discuss the status of ongoing projects in a brief open session at the start of the meeting.

Tickets for the Executive Committee meeting can be obtained by the general public on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. at the Information and Referral Center in Day Hall on the Cornell campus in Ithaca. No tickets are needed for the open sessions of the Audit and the Buildings and Properties Committees.
