Cornellia was back in time for the annual "lighting of the cow" at the Dairy Store, Dec. 7, where Rich Huffman, a Cornell retiree, played Santa Claus. Anonymous cownappers had returned the life-size fiberglass mascot, wearing a wreath of fake red roses and a Cornell baseball shirt, Nov. 30 to the pitcher's mound at Hoy Field. Cornellia and her calf were stolen in late August. Still missing: Cornellia's calf.
