Volunteers wanted for weight loss study

Cornell employees interested in losing weight are invited to take part in a study that will test a new method of controlling weight.

The research team of Professor David Levitsky in the Division of Nutritional Sciences is testing the Caloric Titration Method of Weight Reduction, an Internet-based computer program. Subjects between the ages of 18 and 65, with a BMI (body mass index) of 27 or higher, may be eligible. Persons who are diabetic, pregnant or hope to become pregnant, or who have a history of a diagnosed eating disorder are not eligible.
