March 4 sessions start at 9 a.m. in the ILR Conference Center. At 7 p.m. in Hollis E. Cornell Auditorium, Goldwin Smith Hall, a panel considers "The Future of Article Nine and Japan's Constitution" followed by an 8 p.m. screening of the film "Anpo" with director Linda Hoaglund.

March 5 sessions include "Knowledge as Technology, Technologies of Knowledge" and a concluding session with an alumni roundtable on new directions in Asian Studies.

The East Asia Program will continue to celebrate the 60th anniversary throughout March with the Filming East Asia film series, a Meet the Authors series at the Cornell Book Store and a Speaker Series. These events highlight the efforts of the East Asia Program in its distinct initiatives to support instructional and scholar programs, publications, outreach and curriculum development.
