Cornell University Library's most accomplished and passionate student workers were honored at the Fuerst Outstanding Library Student Employee Awards April 12.

This year's winners are Michael Muller, Math/EMPS libraries; Nicole Mormilo, Law Library; Jacquelyn Heim, Olin/Kroch/Uris libraries; Amanda Esteves, Mann Library; and Dilara Ozbek, Olin Library.

A reception and award ceremony, held in Olin Library, honored the five seniors chosen for the awards, which are made possible by William F. Fuerst '39. Fuerst was a lifelong Cornell and library supporter who established the award to recognize exceptional student employees for their performance, leadership and library service to the campus.

This is the 18th year of the awards. At $500 each, they are the largest monetary gifts for student workers. The library is the second-largest student employer on campus, behind Campus Dining.
