Cornell wins five CASE awards

University photographer Jason Koski's "Risley Hall Walk" photograph took home a CASE bronze medal this year.

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) has given Cornell five Circle of Excellence Awards this year. CASE sponsors a worldwide competition that honors exemplary programs and activities in higher education in several areas of communication, alumni relations and fundraising.

These 2012 awards are:

• gold medal in individual recruitment ads (out of 31 entries); submitted by Marketing, University Communictions;

• gold medal for Cornell Entrepreneur Network's alumni relations programs, special constituencies category (10 entries);

• bronze medal in individual photographs for university photographer Jason Koski's "Risley Hall Walk" (55 entries);

• bronze medal in research, medicine and science news writing for the College of Veterinary Medicine (35 entries); and

• bronze medal in special constituency magazines for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's "Living Bird" magazine (49 entries).
