New retirement plan package to be sent: Sign up for electronic delivery

New U.S. Department of Labor regulations require Cornell to provide faculty and staff members with information about their retirement plans, which requires a huge annual paper package. Now, that package can be provided electronically by TIAA-CREF and Fidelity Investments. To receive this important retirement information electronically through email and thereby reduce paper and clutter, you need to sign up for electronic delivery.

Electronic delivery is easy and ensures you have:

  • secure access to important plan information you need to know;
  • the ongoing ability to download information and print documents; and
  • access to your delivery options that you can update at any time and/or revert to paper if necessary.

For TIAA-CREF: Sign up at http://www.tiaa-cref.org/public/profile/index.html. Once you log in, select "Edit My eDelivery Preferences" and then check "Plan Sponsor Disclosures and Notices."

For Fidelity Investments: Log onto Fidelity NetBenefits at http://www.fidelity.com/atwork. Go to "Your Profile," then click on email address. Once you have updated your email address, you can elect to receive required disclosures and other items (such as your quarterly participant statement) online by going to "Your Profile" and clicking on "Mail Preferences."
