Division of Financial Affairs launches new campus forum

Vice President for Financial Affairs and Interim Treasurer Gerald Hector has initiated a series of ongoing, monthly gatherings designed to encourage and facilitate information exchange between the Division of Financial Affairs (DFA) and its campus partners.  Each 90-minute session of “DFA Conversations” will begin with a presentation by a DFA staff member, followed by time for feedback, questions and dialogue among all attendees. It is Vice President Hector’s hope that this new communication forum will serve two purposes: 1) to help members of the university community better understand how DFA supports the university’s mission, and 2) to inform DFA’s teams of the business needs of their customers.

The first session of “DFA Conversations” will take place Sept. 19, from 1:30-3 p.m., in G01 Biotechnology Building. The subject will be “Cornell Procurement Services: Procure to Pay.”

The event is open to all Cornell staff members who are interested in or have questions about the university’s procurement process.
