Engaging with off-campus communities
The Office of Community Relations is on the move this summer with the Community Relations Engagement Wagon (CREW) to share its services and knowledge with Cornell offices and colleagues about such topics as:
- Connecting with local resources;
- Cornell’s local impact;
- Volunteer opportunities on and off-campus;
- Local government, and;
- Not-for-profits.
“Colleagues are often interested to hear about our work with off-campus communities, including volunteer opportunities and working with local governments,” said Susan Riley, deputy director for community relations. “We also take pride in connecting Cornell staff, students and faculty with our friends and neighbors around Tompkins County on any given topic.”
In addition, the Office of Community Relations often hosts meetings in its office suite on specific topics.
The CREW team, in 110 Day Hall, is happy to bring its engagement wagon to your department or unit to network, share information and otherwise strengthen Cornell’s relationship with its neighbors.
