Students can explore resources at entrepreneurship kickoff event
By Kathy Hovis
Students who have an interest in business creation, venture capital, technology, startups, social enterprises or anything related to entrepreneurship can learn more about the vast array of available campus resources during Entrepreneurship at Cornell’s kickoff event Sept. 9 at eHub Collegetown, 409 College Ave.
Currently the plan is for an in-person event; check back for COVID-19-related updates. The event is from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and will include:
- An overview of the Entrepreneurship at Cornell ecosystem;
- Pitches from select student startup teams who have applied to the eLab accelerator program;
- Opportunities to interact with representatives from more than 25 academic and entrepreneurship-related programs;
- And time to connect with other entrepreneurially-minded students.
“Kickoff is a key event for the entrepreneurship community at Cornell as it provides students an easy way to get key information on what the ecosystem has to offer; having the event in person is all the more special,” said Zach Shulman, director of Entrepreneurship at Cornell.
