Dudley appointed to the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health

Mary Jo Dudley, director of the Cornell Farmworker Program (CFP) and senior extension associate in Global Development in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, has been named to the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health.
The fifteen member council’s mission is to improve health services and conditions for agricultural migratory and seasonal workers and their families. Councilmembers, who each serve four-year terms, are appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Administrator of the Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA). NACMH members advise, consult with, and make recommendations to HHS and HRSA to improve the health and safety of farmworkers nationwide.
