New Working at Cornell Website Launching in February

After nearly a year of collaboration with the custom web development team from Cornell Information Technology, the Working at Cornell website will launch with a fresh, clean look and lots of user-friendly improvements and new features. Here's what to look for:

New Features

Self-Service

The new self-service section makes it easy to find the most common employee actions. This includes important and popular "How-To" info - for example, how to apply for a Childcare Grant; what to do if you have a baby; resources for navigating health crises, help using Workday, and much more. Use the filtered search to show only the info you need, such as "Contract College," "New Hire," or "Life Events."

People Leaders Microsite

Expanded content just for managers. Now people leaders can easily find the resources and information they need to best support their staff, including new clarification around expectations and processes.

Job Seekers Microsite

New and expanded content to help prospective employees learn about job opportunities, the many benefits of working at Cornell, and connect with recruiters. Plus, streamlined guidance for the application process.

Perks Finder

There are SO many perks available to Cornell employees! And now it's a whole lot easier to find and take advantage of them. Use the filtered search to look for something specific, or browse from the expanded list of services, programs, and discounts.

Enhancements

Improved Navigation

User testing, analytics, and employee feedback guided improvements to content organization across the website, for a more streamlined and user-prioritized structure. For example, the Workday login is now right on the site homepage.

Clean Design

The fresh new design makes pages more legible and easier to browse.

Better Experience On Mobile

Find information easier when you're away from your computer with improvements to user experience on phones and devices.

Better Search Functionality

The search function of the website now includes filters for audience and benefit type (contract college or endowed) to make it easier to find relevant and related content.

Easier-To-Find Login Pages

It's easy to login to our most important support sites now, with links to Workday, CULearn, and the Appreciation Portal at the top of every page.
