ILR launching Center for Applied Research on Work

Building on the many strengths of the ILR School’s faculty and staff, the Center for Applied Research on Work formally launches on Thursday.
“CAROW is a hub that bridges across school units to improve the world of work. It is a place for ILR to build on all that is great about our school,” said Ariel Avgar, Ph.D. ’08, ILR’s David M. Cohen Professor and senior associate dean for Outreach and sponsored research, as well as the center’s director.
Register to attend the 4-7 p.m. launch event in 423 King Shaw Hall.
CAROW research institute members include the Climate Jobs Institute, Global Labor Institute, Institute for Compensation Studies, Labor Dynamics Institute and R. Brinkley Smithers Institute for Alcohol-Related Workplace Studies.
