Provost Michael Kotlikoff and the Cornell Board of Trustees have approved promotions and elections to indefinite tenure for ILR faculty members across four academic departments. 

“These promotions to full professor and appointments to associate professor with tenure are recognitions of the excellence of the faculty members, who are both outstanding scholars and committed teachers. Congratulations to them on their achievements!” said Alex Colvin, Ph.D. '99, the Kenneth F. Kahn '69 Dean and the Martin F. Scheinman '75, 'MS '76, Professor of Conflict Resolution.   

Elected to associate professor with indefinite tenure:
   Dina Bishara, Department of Global Labor and Work
   Brian Lucas, Department of Organizational Behavior
   Devon Proudfoot, Department of Human Resource Studies
   Evan Riehl, Department of Economics

Promoted to full professor:
   Sarah Besky, Department of Global Labor and Work
   Eli Friedman, Department of Global Labor and Work
   Rebecca Kehoe, Department of Human Resource Studies

In addition, Paul Ortiz, who is joining the Department of Global Labor and Work this summer, was elected to full professor with indefinite tenure.
