Adul Samon came to campus for a six-week Precollege program this summer to study biology and take a personal essay course. Adul was one of 12 boys who, along with their soccer coach, were trapped in a flooded underground cave in Thailand in 2018. Their dramatic rescue was recently made into the film Thirteen Lives.
Boonyanuphong and other part-time students studying this fall, generally enroll in part-time study to explore an interest in a particular subject, enhance their resumes, strengthen professional skills or begin work towards a degree.
High School students from around the world come to Cornell University to live on campus and study vet medicine during the summer. They work with Cornell faculty, earn college credit, and earn a Cornell transcript.
Students and lifelong learners are invited to explore a new interest, enhance their resume or strengthen their professional skills through Cornell’s Fall Part-Time Study Program, which runs Aug. 22 – Dec. 17, 2022. Registration for most students begins August 1.

Starting with renowned local artist Maddy Walsh, summer concerts return to the Arts Quad, July 1, 8 and 15, beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is free for all concerts.
Summer Session, running May 31 through August 2, 2022, is open to Cornell and visiting undergraduate and graduate students, high school students and any interested adult. Undergraduates can earn up to 15 credits in on-campus, online, and off-campus courses before the fall semester.
